1. Clinical assessment — our Specialist Ear Care Nurse examines your ears and reviews your relevant medical history to confirm the safest treatment pathway.
2. Informed consent — we explain the procedure, expected outcomes and any small risks, and obtain your written consent before starting.
3. Treatment — the wax is removed using the technique best suited to your ears. Most appointments take 20–30 minutes.
4. Post-treatment check — we re-examine the ear canal and eardrum to confirm clean, healthy results.
5. Doctor review if needed — if anything during your assessment or treatment needs review by a doctor, we can arrange a GP consultation at our clinic, subject to availability.
